The award-winning Denton Drive Live concert series will welcome The Elton Johns and Rock and Rollover-A salute to KISS to the stage on June 11 at The Grove. Ned’s Mama Café and Chicago Taste and More will be on-site to curb any and all hunger.
Ned’s Mama Café, owned by Tara Howard, has been in business for three years. Tara was inspired by her father who taught her how to properly smoke meats. Her goal was to share their brisket with others. The food truck allows her to reach multiple counties in the DFW area. They marinate their meats for 14 hours and smoke them for 12-14 hours. This slow smoking allows it to turn into mouthwatering tenderness. Can’t you just taste it?
The menu is filled with many offerings including their famous smoked brisket. You can choose from loaded nachos or fries, brisket mac-n-cheese, sandwiches and more. You’ll taste the love they put into their food, down to the very last bite. Ned’s Mama Café enjoys traveling from town to town and seeing the smiles on the faces of those they serve.
Chicago Taste and More, owned by native Texan Terri Kingsbury, is a concept she and her late husband from Chicago developed. Wanting to bring the best food from Chicago to the South, they opened and ran a restaurant for seven years and then decided to bring the taste of Chicago straight to their customers. They pride themselves in offering 100% Vienna Beef Chicago Style hot dogs with fresh toppings
You can choose from classic Chicago Style hot dogs, New York Style, Spicy dogs, plus they also serve gyros. Chicago Taste and More wants to give you the experience of authentic Chicago food. They enjoy serving the DFW area and putting smiles on the faces of their customers.
