From Chicago’s "Saturday in the Park" to Fleetwood’s "Say that you Love Me"

Make plans to hit Denton Drive Live on Saturday, August 13, as two powerhouse bands take the stage to deliver a concert experience steeped in classic rock. It’s Windy City, a ten-piece tribute band who faithfully recreates their best songs in an intimate concert experience. Followed by Fleetwood X, a group of seasoned and talented DFW musicians dedicated to bringing the look, sound and funky vibe of Fleetwood Mac to life here in DFW.

Chicago is an American rock band established in 1967. They self-described themselves “rock and roll band with horns.” They were first known as The Big Thing, then Chicago Transit Authority to Chicago in 1969. They have won numerous awards and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.

Windy City prides itself on sounding closer to the album cuts. Each of the band members

has spent time studying the parts played by the original band members. You won’t want to miss this show Saturday night!

Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band that came together in 1967. The band had multiple members come and go. In 1974 they recruited Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. They became more pop rock and had numerous No.1 hits.

Fleetwood X portrays 70’s Fleetwood Mac, performing the most loved hits like "Dreams Don’t Stop", "Go on your Way," "The Chain" and "Rhiannon". The band takes you back to the early years when the band captured the hearts of the thousands.

The Denton Drive Live! gates open at 6 p.m., Windy City will kick off the evening at 6:15 p.m. Fleetwood X follows at 8:30 p.m. and keeps the music flowing until 10 p.m.! This event occurs at The Grove at Mustang Station, 12700 Denton Drive.

There will be lawn games for the entire family in our Game Zone, and food and drinks are available for purchase. Speaking of delicious eats, August’s featured food trucks are Cousins Maine Lobster with their famous lobster rolls and J Wok, with their excellent mixed Asian offerings.
