Denton Drive Live Host DFW's Finest Food Trucks

Updated: Apr 11, 2022

Farmers Branch award-winning concert series, Denton Drive Live!, is back for its third season and this year will feature some of DFW's finest food trucks! The first concert is Saturday, April 9, at The Grove at Mustang Station and will showcase 7 Sisters Gourmet Food Truck and Twin Stacks BBQ!

7 Sisters Gourmet Food Truck's menu includes chicken and shrimp tacos, quesadillas, and a new chicken sandwich recently added to the menu. They pride themselves in serving all organic food and offering vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. They downsized to a mobile food truck and have happily served the community for 20 years. 7 Sisters offers

professional, quick service, delicious food and takes great care in serving the community and catering to patrons who are health conscious and faced with food allergies. Interestingly, Jeanine, the owner, has seven sisters and five brothers, so they named their restaurant/food truck after that. Many people visit the 7 Sisters just to tell them they also come from a large family.

Twin Stacks offers the finest BBQ in the DFW Metroplex. Their menu includes pulled pork, sausage, brisket sandwiches, specialty sandwiches, baby back ribs, jumbo baked potatoes, and all plates come with sides. They smoke everything on board and double-check it passes the mouth-watering taste test before serving! Adam, the owner, chose BBQ as his cuisine because he enjoyed cooking with his dad. Adam wanted to make food that he enjoys, Texans

are proud of, and most importantly, reminds him of his quality time with family. He feels his BBQ is top-notch because its flavor profile is unique and homemade. They mix and create their spices to give the mouth-watering BBQ its flavor, and to top it off, they make their own BBQ sauce. "Good luck getting this much flavor by just using salt and pepper," Adam says. Adam starts prepping at least a day before so the mouth-watering BBQ can smoke for at least 12 hours. He always says, "the smoke coming from the pit is our best salesman." Can you smell it? I feel like I can. Twin Stacks has served the DFW Metroplex for 15 years. The truck gets its name from being a second-generation food truck. The original trailer had two smokers giving them the name Twin stacks.

Join us to kick off our series with Lost Shaker of Salt and Barefoot Nation on April 9 from 6-10 p.m. at 12700 Denton Drive Farmers Branch and enjoy these two amazing featured food trucks. Our local Mex-Mex restaurant, Nuevo Leon will be on site serving beer, wine, and wineritas.
